Michelle Denny Recruitment is working alongside Marble Arch in Diss, Norfolk, who are looking for a Team Lead to head up their own damage claims department. You’ll be joining a specialist MGA organisation with a niche firmly rooted within the UK motor market. Salary is up to £30,000pa with a nice range of benefits.



This is an entirely new role and holds significant importance to the operation of the business, so it would be fantastic if you already have experience of running a claims team within an insurance, TPA or brokerage environment … however, this could also be an exciting step up if you have a strong industry background.



A selection of primary responsibilities: (full job description available)



  • Direct management of a team of 8 Claims Adjusters

  • Monitoring and reviewing quality control, claims files and general processes

  • General supervision of Claims Team, claims handling and invoicing

  • Handling a limited caseload of more complex claims

  • Reviewing and streamlining processes and procedures

  • Monthly reporting, appraisals and feedback meetings

  • Embracing and supporting roll out of new claims management system

  • Allocate workloads throughout the team, ensuring compliance with service level agreements, quality, productivity, and efficiency

  • Management of complaints and appeals

  • Support with customer liaison and training, to achieve the overriding company ethos - to deliver a consistent, professional, quality service

  • Act as a technical referral point across their team

  • Coach, inspire and develop technical excellence and quality in everything we do, via audits, 121s, mentoring and general support

  • Identify and proactively address employee issues, such as performance and day to day needs to ensure highest levels of service delivery resulting in excellent customer satisfaction

  • Support the team by handling day to day issues and ensure continuity of service

  • Work closely with the Liability and Technical Claims Managers, as well as the Claims Director to ensure a seamless service delivery to our business customers
