CREDIT CONTROLLER - IPSWICH
Michelle Denny Recruitment is looking to assist a busy business located on the outskirts of Ipswich, in finding a Credit Controller for a fixed term contract of initially 4 months. Working 37.5 hour week, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm. There is an excellent salary which we will discuss on application.
The purpose of the position is to support both the Financial Controller and Credit Controller with the day to day Credit Control duties.
Qualifications, Competences, Skills and Experience:
This position requires someone with solid credit control experience
Good phone manner, writing and customer service orientation
The person doing this role must be flexible, resilient, have a great attitude and enjoy working alongside colleagues to complete the work and solve problems
Ideally competent in Word and Excel but doesn't need to be an expert!
Responsibilities and duties:
Administrative daily duties to support Sales Ledger & Credit Control, including posting BACS, cheques and credit card receipts.
Allocating receipts accurately and efficiently.
Informing Sales Administration specific payments are in.
Debt collection by calling customers, dealing with queries
Liaising with other parts of the business to resolve queries.
The facilities are of a good standard with modern communication and IT systems and a collaborative and very friendly team.
