Michelle Denny Recruitment is working alongside an international shipping company, located in Mildenhall, Bury St Edmunds, to find a Customer Service Coordinator. Salary is up to £22,000 depending on experience and is a permanent full-time, on-site role.   This is a newly created opportunity which has much scope for personal development within the business and offers a generous holiday allowance of 24 days plus bank hols.



The company is a globally successful one, that is experiencing real growth, so you’ll be busy.  You’ll be talking with customers about shipping cargo all over the world which will include classic cars, boats, yachts, plant, motorcycles to name a few.



Duties will include:


  • Liaise with customers on phone and email

  • Provide quotations

  • Coordinate import / export shipments

  • Ensure all documents, files, pricing, services and agent information are continuously updated

  • Be part of weekly and monthly team meetings

  • Keep up to date with competition and feedback to the team


Skills and experience:


  • Ideally some customer service experience, within an office/admin environment

  • A friendly and confident communicator, with an ability to converse with a variety of people

  • Sound IT skills across Microsoft software

  • Organised, good at managing your own time and accurate with those all-important finer details


The company specialise the overseas shipping of vehicles, classic cars, boats & yachts transporting them to & from all major worldwide destinations.  There is a dedicated, upbeat and amiable crew of colleagues too!
