Michelle Denny Recruitment is looking for a wonderfully creative Marketing Assistant & Content Writer on behalf of Lexham Insurance, the motor bike insurance specialists, located right on the borders of Norfolk & Suffolk. Salary is in the range of £20,000 - £25,000 doe and is a permanent opportunity, working 8.30am – 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.

This new role will be super for someone looking for a mix of both digital marketing and content writing, giving the opportunity to create valuable content. You may already have some marketing experience or be taking the first step on your marketing career ladder, following your studies; either way, you’ll be supported by a small and very friendly team.

The role will include:

• Content creation including planning, writing and uploading articles to CMS

• Assisting with the planning and creation of emails shots

• Support with video projects – including planning, research, script writing and potentially recording voice over

• Project management – research into opportunities to aid the growth & development of products

• Database Management for Marketing campaign

• Planning for digital & print advertising & communications

• Competition platform management

• Creating & assisting with digital marketing reports & strategies

• Working with the Marketing team to assist with social media management including planning, creatives and scheduling

• Potential to attend events in a marketing capacity

• Assisting the Marketing Manager and Sales & Marketing Director to support the work of the department (including keeping them organised!).

Skills & experience you’ll ideally need:

• Content creation

• Creative writing skills

• SEO, SproutSocial and CMS knowledge

• Project management skills and the ability to work with organisation and efficiently

• An interest in Scooters & Motorcycles would be advantageous
