Michelle Denny Recruitment is looking for a Multi Track Personal Injury Paralegal to work for a legal business in Diss, South Norfolk.  This permanent, full time position carries an initial salary up to £28,000pa and can be worked on a hybrid basis, with at least one day per week in the office.

As you'll see below, this is a full and varied position that requires the ability to self-manage your workload and collaborate efficiently with internal and external partners with the vision of keeping the claimant's journey as smooth as possible.

Working with a team of four multi track file handlers, responsibilities will include:

• Management of medical appointments to include securing appointment, notifying clients of appointments, obtaining medical records for the medical experts, chasing of the report following the appointment, sorting payment of expert fees

• Working alongside the file handler to gather liability evidence from clients, witnesses police, accident reconstruction experts etc

• Working alongside the file handler to gather quantum evidence from clients, employers and HMRC

• Assisting with the review of medical records/financial records

• Assisting with the management of the file handlers court diaries to include inputting due dates for case management directions to ensure compliance

• Assisting with preparation for court hearings to include liaising with counsel and costs draftsmen, putting together trial bundles

• Ensuring the ledger on files is always kept up-to-date and arranging payments of fees and damages due
