Michelle Denny Recruitment is partnering with a growing organisation in Diss, and we’re looking for someone who enjoys numbers, loves problem solving and takes pride in accuracy.

What the role looks like day to day

You’ll play an important part in keeping financial records up to date and running smoothly and you’ll be joining a supportive team that values clear communication and people who enjoy working with a sense of purpose.

Your role will include a mix of:

  • Processing daily invoices

  • Keeping payment records accurate and up to date

  • Reconciling card transactions

  • Handling bank reconciliations

  • Responding to account queries in a helpful, calm way

  • Managing occasional cheque payments

  • Checking supplier statements and resolving any differences

What you’ll bring

This role would suit someone who’s already worked within accounts or finance and wants a stable, well-rounded position they can grow with.

You’re likely to be someone who:

  • Enjoys getting things right first time

  • Pays close attention to detail

  • Is confident with Excel and Sage accounting software

  • Is comfortable organising your own workload

  • Likes being part of a team that helps each other out

  • Feels at home in a structured, steady environment

  • AAT or part-qualified ACCA would be a bonus, but not essential.

Why this could feel like a good move

You’ll be joining a well-respected employer with a supportive culture, open communication and space to develop. It’s a team that appreciates people who take ownership and enjoy being part of something reliable and well run.

You’ll receive:

  • Salary up to £34,000

  • Free on-site parking

  • A friendly, stable working environment where people stay
