This varied role sits at the centre of a busy office, welcoming clients while supporting the team with day to day administration. Full or part time hours will be considered.

Michelle Denny Recruitment is working with a long established and respected professional services business in Diss to find a capable Receptionist / Administrator to join their team.


This is a varied and important role sitting at the heart of the office. You’ll be the first point of contact for clients visiting or calling, while also supporting the wider team with a range of day to day administrative tasks that help keep everything running smoothly.

It’s a role that suits someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in keeping things organised, and understands how much difference a reliable and welcoming front of house presence makes to a busy office.


The Role


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Meeting and welcoming clients visiting the office

  • Answering incoming calls and directing enquiries appropriately

  • Managing appointments and booking meeting rooms

  • Handling incoming and outgoing post

  • Maintaining tidy reception and meeting areas

  • Updating internal databases and filing documentation

  • Scanning, photocopying and preparing documents

  • Recording payments received and supporting general administration

  • Ordering office stationery and supplies

You’ll also help support the wider team with day to day office tasks that keep the business running smoothly behind the scenes.


About You


You will likely bring:

  • Previous experience in a Reception or Administrative role

  • A friendly and professional manner when dealing with clients

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Confidence using standard office systems

  • A reliable and proactive approach to managing a busy front desk

Working Hours


The business is open to either:


Full time – 35 hours per week

or

Part time – typically 9am – 1pm


The successful candidate will need to be able to start at 9am to open the office.
