Valeter | Tyre Fitter

Michelle Denny Recruitment is working alongside Derek P Fiske to help them welcome a new Car/Van Valeter & Tyre Fitter into their friendly, long-established team. Full time, permanent and based in Diss, salary is circa £30,000pa depending on experience. Derek Fiske is a respected independent garage with loyal customers who value their honest service and consistent standards. They’re looking for someone who wants a steady, long-term role and takes pride in looking after customers’ vehicles.

What the role involves

• Cleaning and valeting vehicles inside and out

• Fitting and changing tyres, including puncture repairs and balancing

• Checking tread depth, pressures and tyre condition

• Keeping the workshop tidy, organised and safe

• Helping the team keep the day running smoothly

What we're looking for

• Experience in valeting and/or tyre fitting (both ideal, one is fine)

• A full driving licence

• Someone dependable, practical and happy working as part of a team

• Pride in doing things properly and delivering good service

Hours, pay and benefits

• 8am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday

• Salary iro £30,000 DOE

• Overtime sometimes available on Saturdays (8am–1pm), paid at time and a half

• 24 days holiday plus bank holidays
