Customer Service Advisor – Diss

£26,780 + bonus + genuine progression


Tired of late evenings, every weekend and shifts that change at the last minute?


This could be the move that changes all of that.


We’re supporting a growing business in Diss that’s recruiting multiple Customer Advisors to join their team in June. The hours are structured – 38.75 hours per week across rotating shifts starting at 8.30am, 9.30am or 10.30am, Monday to Friday, with the latest finish at 7pm. Alternate Saturdays are included (9.30am–4.30pm), and on those weeks you’ll receive a weekday off in lieu. No Sundays.


No industry experience is needed.


If you’ve worked in hospitality, retail, customer service or a similar people-facing role and you’re ready for something more professional and long-term, this is worth reading.

That said, this role won’t suit everyone.


Customers can be demanding, so you’ll need to stay calm under pressure, communicate confidently and pick things up quickly in a busy environment. Reliability matters a lot here.


This is a highly customer-focused role. You’ll spend much of your day speaking with customers while working accurately across multiple screens and systems, so strong computer skills and attention to detail are essential.


Full training is delivered through a dedicated in-house academy before you go anywhere near the customer floor – giving you everything you need to succeed before you start.


The role will involve:

- Speaking with customers by phone, email and live chat

- Handling customer enquiries and preparing quotations

- Learning and using specialist systems and processes

- Multitasking across multiple screens while communicating with customers

- Delivering a consistently high standard of customer service

- Contributing to a fast-moving, collaborative team


What we’re looking for:

- Strong communication skills and genuine confidence with people

- Good computer skills and high attention to detail

- The ability to multitask while speaking with customers

- Reliability and real commitment

- A positive attitude and the ability to stay calm when things get busy

Important:
