Michelle Denny Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a long established East Anglian property business in the search for a Property Administrator to support its residential property team across Diss and Harleston. This is a varied, hands-on role for someone who enjoys keeping things organised, taking pride in detail and being part of a busy office where each days can be varied and interesting. Supporting the day-to-day running of the residential department, you’ll be involved in everything from preparing property particulars and contracts through to processing invoices, managing records and helping keep the office running smoothly.


It’s a role that would suit someone confident, capable and well presented, who enjoys dealing with people as much as they enjoy the administrative side of the job. Strong presentation, customer service and communication skills will be just as important here as good organisation and attention to detail.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing day-to-day administrative support to the residential sales team

  • Preparing property particulars, contracts, window cards and sales documentation

  • Assisting with general property administration and ensuring records are accurate and up to date

  • Processing invoices and supporting with reporting and financial administration

  • Maintaining filing systems and document records using internal systems, including Alto

  • Supporting compliance and document management, including Anti Money Laundering requirements

  • Handling reception duties and being a professional first point of contact for clients and visitors

  • Assisting with general office administration across the department as required


The successful person is likely to bring:

  • Previous administration experience, ideally gained within property, professional services or another busy client-facing environment

  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail

  • A polished, professional and approachable manner

  • Confident communication skills and a natural focus on customer service

  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, and ideally some experience of CRM or property systems

  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm and organised in a busy office

  • A willingness to work between the Diss and Harleston offices during the week according to business needs

  • A positive, reliable and discreet approach


Additional information

  • Salary guide: £25,000 - £27,500, depending on experience

  • This role will support the residential team across both Diss and Harleston

  • The successful person should expect to work between the two offices during the week, depending on business needs

  • Working hours are office based and will include two Saturday mornings per month (9:30am - 1:00pm)
